Dead Baby Speaks

Dead Baby learns to say the Zen word on command.

Dead Baby is just her nickname. I first introduced her to the breeding community with a Dead Baby joke, "What's the difference between a Dead Baby and this kitten?" The answer is: two hours of CPR. I successfully revived DB after finding her completely cold and blue. But rigor mortis had not set in, so I began CPR as a matter of due diligence, though I fully believed that she was already dead. Compressions started her heart beating within a couple of minutes. But she required assisted breathing for a grueling two hours. She would take two breaths on her own and stop. I'd give her a third. Then she'd take two more. For the last hour I stifled tears to keep the air flowing. When we cry from our hearts, God hears.

Her registered name is ZenDada Phoenix Rising.

Bengal. The pattern is called brown marble tabby. It's my specialty.

For those of you who are confused, I think the Zen word he is referring to is the word Mu, which is an answer to a question that is neither clearly yes, or clearly no. Think of those uncomfortable loaded questions, like for example "Have you stopped beating your kids yet?" To say no is to answer that you beat your kids, and don't stop, to say yes is to answer that you beat your kids before, if neither applies, you reply "Mu", essentially answering with nothing, to note the question as fallacy
