Pulling the fire alarm at UGA new Student Learning Center

me and my dad whent up to a new student learning center the company that he works for had a job over there the fire alarm system is a Notifier NFS 320 adressable system with Notifier NBG12LX's and gentex commander 3 strobes and they also had a vioce evacuation system the vioce EVAC panel is a Sigcom DVS 25/50 for the vioce EVAC they had gentex white celing mount speakers
while we were there i got to test the fire alarm i had my own notifier key i was going to put the pull station into drill mode cause i thought the dailer was hook up but it wasn't so i pulled fire alarm then as soon as it whent off i reset the pull station then whent over to the panel to reset it then i tried the Fire drill button but the fire drill button would not activate Cause it said at the bottom of the Button it said Drill hold 2 seconds i hold it in for 2 seconds but the alarm did not go off after 2 seconds so one of the guys that was working there hold the button down i think the drill button had a 15 second delay then the regular hold which is 2 Seconds then i did a lamp test then i went to the front door to test the Annuciator whinch is A notifier FDU 80 but i did not take a video of it cause i left my camera in the room where the panel was and my dad tried to get my camera to where i was but i silenced the alarms to quikly i had fun that day comment and rate 5 stars if you like this video.

The reason why the Drill button didn't work at first is because you had just reset the panel. For some reason, the 320 (and 640) are EXTREMELY slow when resetting. You will notice this if you have any outputs programmed as non-silenceable... it will take 30 seconds or more for the outputs to return to normal after a reset! During this time, the panel is dead to the world... that means it doesn't respond to any initiating devices or keypad commands.

The commander 3's are strobe only. The speakers are on the ceiling - white Gentex ones. Read the bloody description...
