Lyndsey-My Side of the Story (Story contest)

So Looking at Brooke's quote in 605 I realized thats my life. All my friends are moving on with their lives having families and I'm just stuck. Everyone tells me I'm only 21 but everyone else has moved on why cant I ? So every person stands for someone in my life.
Haley- My best friend from high school. She got married about two years ago and now she has a kid and its hard to keep in touch because she is in a different place in life than me
Lucas- I have loved this guy since high school and when I finally go past my fears and was ready to pursue him it was too late he had a girlfriend
Owen- My first Boyfriend. I loved him as any 17 year old can say of a boyfriend. He Cheated on me and scarred me for years. It was the worst feeling I've ever had.
Julian- I was dating this great guy. He was so good to me. He would have done anything to make me happy but because of my insecurities I broke up with him. This was about 8 months ago I still regret my decision sometimes but now he has a new girlfriend and once again I lost my chance.
Nathan- Now if you have been watching my videos you know how much I love my best friend Jason and that we would do anything for each other. Well I've come to realize that with him in my life I'm not truly looking for the man of my dreams because I have him as my go to man. Looking at this we decided to cut down on our closeness so that we can move on to the next chapters of our lives. And even though we are breaking some of the close bonds we have I think we will still be there for the other.
Jake- This is the man of my dreams. The one who when I think about my future is knelling at the alter with me and we will be sealed for time and all eternity. I dont know if I've met him but I know hes out there.

I'm sorry you have to go through this! I can kinda relate as well. My friends know where their going with their lives and me... I feel like I'm stuck in one place and can't move forward even though I really want to. Even though I'm 19, I just wish I could be like everyone else in my life. So yeaa, I can relate :)

@lovexisxthexanswer because we don't know who we are and what we want with ourselves yet. Being so young, (I'm only 20, too) I feel like we need to find ourselves by ourselves. That's why I always enjoy being single and having fun, because I know I won't be able to find who I am if I'm constantly leaning on a guy. Anyway, you will find that someone special eventually and at that time you'll be ready and hopefully have found this direction in your life that you are moving to :D

first, this is beautiful! i love the black/white flash on the beats...amazing.

second, I know what it's like for you to feel stuck in your life and feel like nothing is really going right. Especially feeling like you'll never find that guy or whatever, but I've made this realization that the reason I'm not finding "the guy of my dreams" is because I'm not ready. The reason we all push away guys when we feel like they're getting to close is that we are personally not ready to be with someone..
