This has nothing to do with The Velvet Underground. It's Lou Reed solo, a few years after he left The Velvets in 1970. It's from his second solo album Transformer, produced in London, England, by David Bowie & Mick Ronson in late 1972 (The Velvet Underground never played outside the US & Canada.... well, not until their 1993 reunion tour of Europe, anyway) & it hit the charts all over the US & Europe in 1973.... nothing to do with The Velvet Underground whatsoever.
