My son and autism

I wanted to share a more serious moment with you all, my son. He has autism, and i wanted to approach this aspect to you all, in a gentle way, i hope you like it.

So... who is making fun of children with autism? I do agree completely with you on how children with autism are far brighter in other areas then most children without. Its communication, appropriate behaviors and sensory issues that normally set them apart. I expect a lot of the same things from my son as i do from my daughter, I know what he can and can't do, I won't let him degress.

It is "son who is autistic" and they are posting vids because look at him he is precious! People post vids of thier children all the time, why can't they? This vid can also show awarness that these children are children and should be accepted.

I take that offensively as I am autistic.

Autistics can be healthy and happy. Is a variation in the gene pool healthy or unhealthy. Does abnormal suddenly equal unhealthy? It's a different way of thinking. 10% of the population is a part of the greater autism phenotype. I don't want to be cured. Terminated? Sound to me like you want to be a future Hitler.
