In 1989, I was lucky enough to see this on the big screen during a 50th anniversary re-release. It's still the best version.

To have that kind of love! What every one wants, but few of us ever have. Even after seeing this movie a 100 plus times it still makes me cry. Such a wonderful movie, but the book is more moving. Thank you for posting it.
