  • This scene still brings me to tears. The dialogue is perfection, the music exquisite.

  • @truesunn It's in her eyes. Heathcliff knows, she doesn't have to say "I love you" or "I'm sorry for dumping you for the rich guy" It's in her eyes!

  • @GeminiSarahAnne Same here. :-)

  • I love watching Laurence Olivier.

  • In 1989, I was lucky enough to see this on the big screen during a 50th anniversary re-release. It's still the best version.

  • To have that kind of love! What every one wants, but few of us ever have. Even after seeing this movie a 100 plus times it still makes me cry. Such a wonderful movie, but the book is more moving. Thank you for posting it.

  • Larry is just so...so beautiful. I want to be the one he carries!

  • I cannot live without my life

I cannot die without my soul

  • That is was one the most moving scenes i have ever seen....

  • SHE MINE

  • I'm crying just from watching this clip! I haven't even seen this film for years!

  • Bucket of piss. Heathcliff would have fucked Edgar Linton out the window.
