@djmz1969 Where does start, which Chinese is best to learn, I love the characters but do not understand nothing about them. I got a collection of Chinese furniture tea pots. I just love it, I don't know is just a different mind set from the super indulging Western art like Renaissance, beautiful but too heavy. There is a beauty in the simplicity of Asian art that I just like.

@djmz1969 But you do not have to learn all 3000 characters, you can live there with 1000 or so. Even some Chinese people do not know all the characters.

New York doesn't count as it's squared skyscrapers are prehistoric...

I am chinese but grew up here at the states. My parents have always told me how special it is to be chinese. I always knew it that it will always be an advantage being chinese and it is unfolding in front of our eyes. I am so proud and I do not mind living in China one day to escape the prejudices in the states.
