I do have to say though, if one is going to say something about either of the world wars, one must know that, without the Canadians, the Germans would have destroyed Britain, and your allies. I knew a man, fought as a tailgunner in a Lanc, and shot down 2 messerschmidts. And, if if weren't for the French, many US, British, and Canadian plans would have gone down. Thanks to the French, phosphorus never made it into many of the bombs, sand did.

@kerrigor778 Yes I totally agree with you there buddy up until I browsed through the comments where fans of Al Murray are attacking innocence American citizens in a copycat pattern where they believe it's cool to attack Americans just because Al Murray does it. Comedy is comedy (we should know as we give the world comedy) until someone attacks Americans.

people stop getting your knickers in a twist! hes a comedian who does sketch shows and comedy shows this is one of many characters he plays and one of his most loved, hence why he uses him as his stand up routine, soo shallap and enjoy his pure geniusness! XD

I guess British humour also encompasses the British capability to be able to take a joke. Something our long lost colonials seem to have lost. Which is why I guess its coming as such a shock to see so many Americans having a fit over a little joke.
