Kyteman Kytecrash, Eric Vloeimans & Colin Benders, NSJ2011, (1/4)

Colin Benders, also known as Kyteman, is one of the two "Carte Blanche" artists this year. For an explanation of the definition "Carte Blanche" and a short biography, please click on the "Program" button. Today, Kyteman will bring the popular project Kytecrash to North Sea Jazz. It is a very special collaboration between Eric Vloeimans, Holland's greatest jazz trumpet player of this era, and Colin Benders, the greatest pop/cross-over trumpeter. Vloeimans used to be Colin's teacher. But those days are over: both performers are well up to the challenge and were able to make Kytecrash a successful project already.
