Fallout: New Vegas Infinite Cap Glitch and Tutorial

After you bring law back to Primm, you have to wait 3 days in game to come back to the Vikki and Vance casino. Once inside you will be forced to talk to Layla. Remind her that Primm now has law, and she'll go away. After this encounter, wait a total of 3 days in game, and come back to the Vikki and Vance casino. You'll see that Vikki and Vance now has a cashier.

Save your game and quit to dash. You'll need to delete your cache, which is just some updates you've downloaded for your XBOX. Hitting "Y" on the storage devices menu will bring up the sub-menu and let you choose to delete your cache. Once you do, load up New Vegas and choose to not update this time. Obsidian and Bethesda patched this glitch shorty after the game was released, along with a bunch of experience and item glitches.

Load your game back up and talk to the Vikki and Vance cashier. You'll need to buy some chips for starters. What this glitch does is every time you exchange your chips for caps, she doesn't remove any chips from your inventory. You can keep exchanging your chips and get an infinite amount of caps in return for absolutely nothing.Buying or obtaining more chips will count towards how many caps you get each time you turn them in. Starting with only 4 thousand caps, it took about 10 mins to make 1 mil plus.

Save your game and quit to dash. Load New Vegas again and download the update. When you load the game, you'll still have the 1 mil plus and if your like me, you still have the DLC items you get for pre-ordering New Vegas.

this glitch screwed over my game. I deleted the patches, then when I try to load the game it freezes every time. now I cannot download the updates because it doesn't prompt them, simply loads fallout with xbox live disconnected. DO NOT USE THIS GLITCH.

okay i have deleted my cache like 20 times now and according to you a update will pop up and i have to say no to that. Well in my case the update never popped up so what am i to do?

That's interesting. You could not be deleting it properly or it could be downloading the update automatically. Go through your game data for New Vegas and an update might be saved their. Try deleting it and unplug your xbox from the internet so updating is physically impossible. Then try it again. IDK why XBL started saving updates under the game data, but it should make it easier to access and delete. If you still have problems, let me know.

If you are absolutly sure you don't have any updates, then no. If you try it and it doesn't work, that means you did get an update and you'll have to. I included it in the video for those who don't know how to.

@starclanproduction well you need to do the mission to get law in primm, either get the robot to do it or the ncr, deputy or sheriiff in the ncr prison
