  • WOW Everyone shut up about bench shirts. There not cheating, Wanna know why? because at a powerlifting meet they all use them. meaning no one is cheating as long as there useing leagal shirts for that fediration. There for no one has the advantage. and I bet 99% of powerlifters could give a shit less if you dont like the gear they wear. and there is also raw meets ect. so if you like thous watch thous and quit crying over spilt milk. shut the fuck up. I bet most of you cant even hold that weight

  • stop bitching about a bench shirt, lets see you lift 700 with a bench shirt i bet you can't.

  • Did Larry Allen use a bench shirt?

  • @sLAndr19 I knew a 106 pound kid who could one arm front raise 6,665 pounds with a little finger grip on a greased bar for 74 hours in hurricane force wind, with the volcano erupting below him. Let's stop fantasizing. An average untrained man can't bench 225 for 1.

  • 220 lb guy benching 700lbs thats one SKRONG motha EFF

  • @HardstylePaul

I agree with you 100%. I'm more impressed with lifting a heavy weight for 5 or 6 reps than just maxing a heavy weight for ONE rep. The one rep doesn not indicate great conditioning or endurance, but that you can gear yourself up for one big press. Additionally, the spotters are usually right there to help lift the bar and even aid when the lifter is struggling with raising the bar. It really just looks like a freak show, even though the guys are strong.

  • What's wrong with his arms?

  • I can incline press 795 pounds easily at the age of 9

  • @michaeltansini I'm only speaking in general terms, Powerlifters train for strength for one rep maximums but it doesn't look impressive or physically draining. Lifting something ONCE? And not everyone is able to do powerlifting because for nearly every lift you'll need a spotter. I find it more impressive when you can handle the heavy weight, beast off a few reps and put it down with no assistance.

  • i know some of you are doing the best you can with the limited amount you have to work with but the primary purpose of a bench shirt is to protect you from injury people put roll cages in drag cars to protect themselves but as an added benifit it stiffins the chassis therefore the car is able to launch better in a straight line that doesnot make it cheating football players can also hit harder with pads and a helment are they cheating

  • he looks stoned

  • @ahmad18ny is that so put the shirt on and lets see how well you do
