  • this was "Rolling Thunder 19".

This year, 2008, was the "XX" (20th) RFTW.

  • This was Rolling Thunder XX; "Run For The Wall" is organized as a separate event. 2008 was the 20th Run for the Wall and the 21st Rolling Thunder. Also the first Flying Thunder was held this year (2008)

  • So this is an every memorial day weekend thing then

  • Every year for the last 21 years. We have been privileged to attend since 2000.

  • i ride every year in this

  • Although we are on 4/6 wheels, we do what we can to keep reminding the government about the issues that affect our returning vets and those who are MIA/KIA/POW.

Thank you for caring and being out there!

  • you know its a real shame that for a video about this event and the purpose of this event and there are people on here resorting to name calling on the internet. That was the first DC trip that I made after returning home from Iraq in April, and it was the most AMAZING thing I have ever attended and am proud to say I was apart of the purpose and a part of that parade. So before you get immature on here, respect the event and the ones that the event is for.

  • That is one ignorant lady.

  • Thank you for your service.

  • They formed a line in front of the Westoboro Baptist Church's goons at our fellow Marine's funerals when I we were in Iraq and obviously couldn't attend them. For that I am forever grateful.

  • oh yeah, forgot, look for SSgt. Tim Chambers to be standing on the yellow lines with a perfect USMC salute for the ENTIRE time, about 4 hours!!
