Footage of my OO gauge model railway in the spare room.
Items include Hornby, Bachmann, Mainline, Airfix, Lima, Metcalfe Models etc
Basically it is three running lines with shed area, coaling stage and goods shed with storage sidings along the back length of the room.
I don't have one particular region that I enjoy seeing run. Anything that takes my fancy from the past (or wish I'd seen) can end up running - be it Southern, Great Western, LNER, or LMS - British Railways - I just enjoy watching the trains go by.
The layout hasn't much in the way of complicated wiring at the moment - just the running lines and access to the sidings. Scenics as you can see are minimal. Occasionally I put together a Metcalfe card kit or other plastic kit

  • Is your layout DC or DCC?

  • @hornbymasterjosh123 Hi there. The layout is DC - I've got quite a few old locos and I don't have the inclination (or money!) to convert them all - hope you enjoyed the video

  • Cool. What's the layout in the background

  • @jasonandjoesrailway Hi there. Glad you enjoyed the video. The layout in the background is a 4' x 3' (approx) N gauge layout I put together some years ago as I had quite a bit of N gauge stock and wanted something to run it on - basic oval with a couple of sidings - the usual - maybe it's time to video that & post it - you never know -thanks for watching

  • How big is your table? Great layout.

  • @tenoregermania Baseboard size is 8 ft x 6 ft - with 4 x 2 space in the middle

Glad you enjoyed the video - thanks for watching
