If I'm not mistaken (it could have been the little voices in my head), I read that this song spoke to environmental issues of the day, which at that time suggested that our ways were leading to a global freeze, not a warming. Regardless, Ian is one of those unique artists who make incredible music...and if you want...there's a message, too. Win-win.
