I had heart surgery recently. Simple instruction for a survivor is all in this song. The poetry is pure genius. I guess, it takes a near death event, before we really begin to listen. Cheers to you all.

This is my favorite first thing in the morning song - we have deemed it "morning music" for 25+ years. Musical geniuses.

My ex and I saw them tour this album in Cali where I grew up and lived then. It is still to this day one of the more memorable shows I've seen and I've seen dozens and dozens of rock shows and still go fairly frequently. Very theatrical and excellently played and the system was great. Thank Ian and company for the memories. Tull's still in rotation on the iPod

@willicat441 You have that perspective so well....I say it's the truth of the JT experience.
"One day you will wake up...."

Ilike!
Today's children of Tull, don't worry about all of the meaningsof his words, just notice how they fit the music, and notice how diverse the range of musical styles, how fun the songs are to learn and play, and how amazed your friends are [ should be]that you appreciate music this well engineered and played.
The metaphors and truths will become self-evident in time........listen closely for all the hidden wonders, they can carry you for a lifetime..
they have for me. :/"

Thanks for posting.
One time I saw Tull, they each took turns playing all the instruments, changing at the end of each song, passing what they were playing to the right. And they all played everything very well.
Unbelievable.
