1. Get hold of a good Guru who is technically & musically VERY sound.
2. Practise breathing & fingerwork excerises regularly.
3. Stop smoking, if you are a smoker.
4. Listen to as much good classical music as you can to traing your ears & your mind.
4. No matter what happens NEVER EVER give up.
I have been playing the flute for over 35 years now, yet it never ceases to fascinate me. I still keep discovering new musical horizons everytime I play it.
Best of luck!

thx gurubhai for posting this

i doubt if he is a smoker.

Please note, the Ga is used in both its versions-komal and shudddh in a very peculiar & judicious way, in both the aaroh & avroh, that distinguishes this raga distinctly. So technically, both the Ga's should be mentioned.

Yogesh Samsi is accompanying on the tabla but the tanpura player's name will remain in anonymity for all eternity... I have no idea who she is but there's a good chance she is one of Panditji's disciples.
