Waste- a journey towards change is a film which reflects the real picture of darjeeling through the waste management. It is a journey where the protagonist tries to explore darjeeling and finds out the bitter reality of this place which leads him to think that change has to come in darjeeling. A change in mentality.
This film was made by a group of First Year students and this was their debut film.

great work!! this topic had been bothering me since i left Darjeeling 10 years ago, I tried to tell people around my village that they should do something about the waste, Even now when i come to Darjeeling, I don´t stop scolding people when i see them cleaning their houses and dumping the waste in the zora nearby. you are so right when you say we" need the change in mentality". We got to educate these people, teach them. Darjeeling is in our hands now,we´ve do something.
