@entewente "Domestication has to start somewhere..." Why? Mankind domesticated cats and dogs for purposes related to work and hygiene. In time domestication began to become more of a social and aesthetic issue, which is fine. But why should we start turning creatures around that would be much better off in the wild other than to serve the selfish needs of people who wants exotic animals as pets because it sets the bar higher and shows everyone else that "We're just a little bit better than you"?

In case by really dangerous animals like bears or tigers, I agree.
But other than that: Bullshit - Domestication has to start somewhere and if you have the qualification to raise and treat them right, why not?
