Problem with many muslims is that they equate criticism of Islam with isulting Islam. But there's nothing wrong with Islam itself, nor any religion, the problem is when fundamentalists interpret literally the passages of a medieval text to fit the context of today. Muslim societies in Third World countries don't spend enough money to teach their students to think critically about their faith, nor to question the relevance of religion, nor do they debate about it, unlike the West.
