Dazzle Agility Trial - CAT 9-8-07

This was certainly an interesting trial for Dazzle.

The place where this trial is held is a huge horse arena - the floors are all concrete and there are huge fans that make as much noise as jet engines. All this noise was too much for little Dazzle so she got a bit stressed and tended to stick right by my side - even when running the course. Of course this really took me by surprise when she handled so different. She even ran past a couple obstacles which is unlike her.

As the weekend progressed I managed to get her over the issue and she really improved and was back to her old self. Still, she only got 5 Qs but I certainly don't blame her for the ones she missed. She was just plain ol' stressed out. I am very happy that we were able to "fix" the problem before the end of the trial though. And she also completed her OAC title.

Great job, I can tell Dazzle was a tad distressed towards the beginning, but she pulled her last run off beautifully! I would rather have a nervous Dazzle then a nervous Shadow any day! Haha! Rather then the glue affect when nervous, Shadow goes off and runs his choice of obstacles!

Grats on your Qs, I understand the being scared thing. My dog wouldnt go outside for agility practice because she was afraid of a plastic bag that was being moved by the wind. Anyway! Glad you helped her overcome it. Also, grats on you OAC title!
