  • This is wide band 21-69?

  • The whiskers look too short, optimized for channels 69 and below. Whisker length should be about 9" to optimize for channels 51 and below.

  • @brianto12 It's a case of location in Toronto, so YMMV. I picked this up for $20 and I'm getting 28 digital channels.

  • I go this it works great and only cost $20 I recommend it.

  • @supressorgrid Math and some wire and we are good to go :)

  • @savagesteve13 Actually, there are still under 50 stations broadcasting on channels 2-6. Philadelphia has ABC station WPVI on channel 6. Chicago has Class A digital station WOCK-CD on channel 4. The Kalamazoo area has WGVK on channel 5 (simulcast of WGVU). So 2-6 aren't completely gone from most markets. Most lower VHF stations chose to stay on their pre-transitional UHF or upper VHF channels instead of going back to 2-6 (WPVI being an exception, as their digital channel was out of core).

  • Wow this bitch is dumb, t-t-t-today junior!

  • @supressorgrid Oh yeah, dont screw with the balun, get 300 ohm ribbon cable and match the impedence at the tv set or amp. 300 ohm is better I think.

  • Why buy on of these when I built one with scraps of wood and copper wire?I built one for my truck with pvc and wire for 6.00 dollars and I always get more stations than any one else in the truck stop. It is a matter of math and wire.

  • You only need an antenna that can pick up channels 7-51 because the lower VHF and upper UHF spectrum in the USA are re-tasked for other electronic devices now.
