I have a hard time quitting: VidCon Vlog 3

Can you believe that after ALL this time, I finally figured out how to crop my videos properly so that they'd be 16:9? Srsly.

P.S. You can't get rid of me that easily. Sorry.

@psiangel7 I honestly get like that with a lot of bigger projects that I don't feel an obligation to do. There have been several craft projects that never went very far. I guess the key is to feel a sense of obligation, but at the same time, that takes the fun out of it.

I think I judge myself harder than other people do. So I try and stick things out to prove to myself that other people don't think badly of me... if that makes sense... Also I get really bad guilt. I don't mind quitting things. I hate the guilt that goes with it.

I try and look decent... thats about it.

@helenzebcharles That makes a lot of sense. Maybe it's the guilt for me, too, more-so than actually quitting something.

I think for me it is too easy to quit something sometimes. That is one reason I wanted to start putting videos up on here. To force myself to do something. I can be a really lazy person sometimes. I guess I should try a little more with my appearance but working 12-13 hours a day I let myself go

@TheCasperOne That makes sense. When I'm going through really stressful times with school and my job, I don't put in as much effort to the way I look. Hope the videoing is going well for you!

@easavoy Oh I have that! ^_^ What do you encode the final file into? Have you tried all the different ones like avi or mov? Which seems to give you he best quality. I get mixed results sometimes.

I don't usually quit things either, Beth! One thing (besides important things like projects and classes) that jumps out at me is things that come in a Series--like books or movies or television shows. Even if I don't absolutely love them I tend to continue with them until the end. Hence, I have read the entire Twilight series. 0_o

I really wanted you to just be asking, "Do you make sure you're wearing clothes" and leave it at that. Oh well. And I do put effort forth to look okay in videos!

Effort.... i use to...but now i that i've given up showering for vidcon i don't. Plus i'm not suppose to give a shit lol

I've never "dropped a class" persay, although I did switch a professor out once, so technically I dropped the class but only so I could pick it up with a different professor.

@man1d2tran I use WMM, so I can't crop in WMM itself, but what I did was use a Any Video Converter to crop the video to 320 x 180 instead of 320 x 240.
