One Life To Live epi on 10-3-08 Part 1 of 5

Part 1 Summary: Rex opens his eyes to find Adriana leaning over him, cooing she'll take care of everything. She forbids Gigi from seeing Rex.

Todd returns home to find Marty on the Internet, looking at the photos of her rapists. The photo of Todd is pre-plastic surgery, so Marty has no idea that Todd was the ringleader. When Marty tells Todd she wants to know the names of her rapists, Todd does some fast talking about leaving their past behind and starting fresh. He essentially asks her not to click through the article to find the names of her attackers.

Marty sees four photos, but she thought three men raped her. Todd explains one of them (Kevin Buchanan) was falsely accused. Marty feels terrible, but Todd assures her that she apologized.

Starr, Langston, Cole, and Markko get up at the crack of dawn to go to Dorian's hearing. The judge releases her and reminds Dorian his ruling stands firm: Langston's legal guardian is now Ray, not Dorian. The teens tell Dorian that Ray and Clint are in cahoots.

At the Buchanan mansion, Nora arrives home from her business trip to find Dallas lounging in Clint's bathrobe. Nora keeps her temper in check; she's not going to let Dallas get the better of her. Clint explains why he invited Dallas to stay. Nora's not happy, but she doesn't protest -- yet. She does ask about Langston, and Clint's happy to report that everything is going according to plan ... that is, until Dorian arrives.

John returns to the police station and tells Antonio and Sarah they need to look for one Ray Montez. Find Ray, and they'll find Cris. With Antonio and Sarah do a quick search and learn Ray filed a petition for Langston's custody, meaning he's in Llanview!

Meanwhile, John furtively reopens Marty's closed case file, but bumps into Cole. Cole sees his mom's picture and asks John what's going on.

In Colombia, Cristian gets antsy. He wants to call Antonio, but Vanessa says on one condition: He has to take her and her daughter to America with him. She introduces teenage Lola to Cristian. She tells Cristian that Ray wants to kill her, that's why she must escape the country.

That is one of the reasons I dont watch this shpow anymore. i watched Todd gang rape marty when I was 15 years old and this is just sick and i will not be ok with it no matter what the writers do. Also I stopped watching when they changed Todds and the old Todd would never have tried to be romantic with Marty but he would have kept her from everyone. Sorry after the Rape Marty and Todd really hated each other and he tortured her too so nope this aint working for me TSJ is Not Todd to me.

Although I am really squicked out by this story, i agree that it is completely in character for Todd. And I am *not* a Todd fan and never was (been watching OLTL since 1988!!). He has always had a thing for Marty. He is deluded enough right now to believe that he can make it right with her. I hope the show doesnt 'go there' but this is pretty compelling soap opera. As long as they NEVER EVER KISS AGAIN I will be happy. Also, Susan Haskell is just fantastic in this scene. Her face says it all.
