Error ?: Papua appears to have fiber service. I did not see and was looking for the financial case for satellite vs. terrestrial delivery. In general, distribution via mobile phone infrastructure seems to me to be a better solution. But, maybe you have a detailed case for using TerreStar up on your web site. I just did not happen to see it.

we should talk were creating a solution, not perfect buts us along the road much cheaper than buying a satelite, which was a cool vision but hard one to maintain. Ours is more immediate.

Favorite part: “This isn't just an idea though. We made a website!”

这是一次非常勇敢地尝试。天朝(China)需要这个.

@tharangafo and by their researching, 78% of the world has electricity but only 26.5% has internet.

@tharangafo 150.000 is to finish the business plans and start talking to billionaires, etc, to get 1 billion for the satellite. He intend to provide free internet to the whole world, but it would certainly not be on one shot. It is a great idea and it can grow and cover the whole world! Having internet people may find ways to resolve their problems... like that guy in Africa that made the windmill. Information is a great thing to improve life.

what a great idea! as if it was not enough to be intelligent and kind, he's cute =)
Cool idea. I work for Newtec, a company that manufactures satellite equipment. Let me know if I can help.

Let's assume that we will have an internet provider at no cost, and people will learn to use the internet by themselves (regardless their level of education). Who will provide all the computers/laptops?
Great presentation overall! Let's make it happen!
