Guitar Tango and F.B.I. - The SALVOS - Live at Glastonbury - Jan-2011 - Full Edit

The Salvos paying tribute here to the Shadows, at Glastonbury, jANUARY 2011/They were Somerset's top band in the early sixties, with large fan base, and succes in local and national Rock band contests, and competitions. They split up in 1964. They re formed in 2004 when featured in a local book on 60s Rock n Roll. the original members of the band are Brian Mapstone Guitar/ Vocals, Nik Ponsillo Bass/vocals, Mike Argent Lead Guitar, and John Lacey Drums. Singer Eddy Dark(Ron Fellows) retired in 2010. Brians son Simon joined on Keyboards in 2004, and latest addition is Singer /Guitarist John Barlow. John was born in Sheffield, where he played and jammed with several top bands including Joe Cocker.Brian is now 70, Simon mid 40s, and the rest of the Salvos all around 65 (and still rockin') Filmed b Steve Winkley and Wendy McLean of Starlight Films.
