@AutoRestoMod Once again... Thanks! I'm going with the 3M 08008 & have done a prefit like c7xr7 said 9 months ago. I've got my wind-lace strips cut and I'm all ready to go. I sure am glad I found your video, it has really helped my confidence level for this project. I also watched the window install video as well... you guys are awesome!!!

@bingnowtv No problem. Contact cement could work but the weatherstrip adhesive has a longer work time and once the contact adhesive is stuck...it is stuck. We haven't done a hardtop yet Bing. And it will probably be a few months before we get to one. Just remember to work from the top of the window opening and the rear window opening down, removing wrinkles as you go.

@AutoRestoMod Thanks AutoRestoMod guys!! I found the 3M 08008 at the auto parts store... priceless!!! Dad says use contact cement? Watched the video again & am still apprehensive cuz I have a '67 hard top and need some more tips on how to do the area around the rear window & back seat small window sail panel. Have ya'll done a video on the hard top yet?

@bingnowtv We're glad we could help Bing! We always use 3M weatherstrip adhesive 08011, or the 08008.

great video... I am starting my headliner project today and needed the inspiration. The pre-install of the visor screws and dome light... priceless!!! Needed to know what glue to use also. Thanks for making this video!

@Sarah4Norman Yeah we'd love to go and shoot some video at the TMI factory in California. Maybe someday!
What if one rod falls out of place from its holes after you have glued the headliner and have it installed, do you have to everything down and start again?

@mgfire2008 Well, one falling is usually one of three things: 1. the headliner is not tight enough front to rear. 2. The retainer wires are not installed on car so equipped. 3. Your side to side tension is way too loose. Send us a picture of the problem: jford @ autorestomod (dot) com.
