For those of you wanting to try swagbucks or curious about it, here's a quick how to. Swagbucks is a search engine that gives you rewards for your searches. You search and randomly a buck (or two or three!) will appear and say that you have won a swagbuck! Those swagbucks can be redeemed for REAL prizes for FREE. You don't ever pay for winning on searches or for redeeming your prizes. Not even for shipping. So how do you get started?

So how do you win????
You win primarily by searching. Swag bucks is powered by Google so you get great results and you can earn prizes. The best way to ensure you are searching using swag bucks search engine is to download the toolbar. Go to swagbucks.com, click the toolbar tab at the top and follow the instructions! I also made swag bucks my homepage.
You also win with codes. The swag guys (TSG) randomly give out codes for everyone and if you see one of those, those are worth bucks too. How do you find these codes? Grab the widget or swidget as swaggernauts call it. Go to the promote tab, click widget and follow those instructions. I like to put it on my face book page. It encourages referrals and is easy for me to get to at all times. If it gets pushed down your profile, click on your boxes tab on your FB profile, if it's not there click see all. You can always re post it to put it back up top!
Why do you want referrals? Because when THEY WIN, YOU WIN!! For their swag bucks earned searching you get matching swag bucks up to 100. Now you don't get matching bucks for codes, but still 100 swag bucks for THEM working is pretty sweet. That's $10 in Amazon gift cards per friend.
You can also earn swag bucks shopping online. You know you will anyway! So if you shop at Wal-Mart, Barnes and Noble, Target, GameStop, and countless others you will get 1 swag buck for every $5 real dollars you spend. Now if you have a rewards checking or credit card then you can really double up, you can get swag bucks plus any rewards you might already earn. Plus there are coupons!!! On a lot of the swag stores there are special offers, coupons and what not that help you save even more! Special Offers are great ways to get swag bucks for trying new things like Stamps.com, Netflix, and Blockbuster. Also every Thursday afternoon there is a swag code in there! Just click on the no obligation offers and skip through a few, a code will appear.
What do I do with these codes? Most of the codes you can copy and paste. The best way to do it is to have two windows open. One with the code and the second with the swagbucks.com homepage. There is a grey box on the swag bucks home page that says Got a Swag code? Paste the code in the white space under it and press gimme. The reason I suggest two windows is that swag codes change often every 20 seconds to prevent people from emailing or texting them to friends. The whole fun of swag bucks in the hunt!
How do I know there is a code?
SWIDGET. Download it. It's a must. Then you should also become a fan of the face book page. Often you will see the face book fan page riddled with Thanks TSG! Then you know to check your swidget. Also if your friends are doing swag bucks (and they should be!) you will see that so and so found a swag code on your FB home page. There are also codes on twitter, but those are rare. So check the swidget, FB page, and then twitter. You can always ask friends for hints. You don't need to be a twitter member to see the swag bucks twitter page, you can just click on the social media tab of the toolbar, or on the twitter link on the swag bucks home page.
