A feature film by Claudia Rorarius
with Gianni Meurer and Paul Kominek
»Chi l'ha visto« follows the story of a young half Italian who grew up with his mother in Germany. Now, after 25 years, he goes on the search for his real father. However, lies that have built up around his father prevent him from recognizing his true belonging.
The film by Claudia Rorarius is a road movie that alternates harmoniously between fiction and a documentary. The interweaving of elements of reality and fiction is a characteristic of this debut film, which tells with honest sympathy of the deep unease of its protagonist and the journey of a friendship through an alternative, unremarkable and undiscovered Italy, which is almost more beautiful than the Italy we know.
It tells impressively of the hopes and dreams, and the deep fears of the protagonist. A lively and disconsolate figure, who is torn back and forth between the events of this partly biographical drama. A film, emanating from a deep personal need, whose persuasive honesty touches the audience.
