I live in Florida now, but used to go to Point Mallard when I was growing up in Huntsville. Point Mallard blows away all the water parks I've been to in sunny fla. They have slides, sandy beach, the best and first wave pool in the nation, the kiddy area and an Olympic pool. I have not been to any other water park that has an olympic pool with the platforms they have. That was one of my favorite things, jumping off those platforms.

Does anyone know if Point Mallard lifeguards are still certified by Ellis Aquatics. They were in 1999 when I worked there when I was 16. I'm working as a lifeguard/CPR instructor at a YMCA in Middle Tennessee now and was just curious if Point Mallard was still operating under Ellis' strict guidelines. If you know for sure, please pass it on to me. Thanks.

Honestly the best thing here is the wave pool, and thats why you should mainly come here!
