Scotty and Chuck test out some shooting spots and some loads - stretching the lightweight bullets' legs. The target cam was non-functional, alas.

  • Hah! was almost told 308 155g are good to around 800 max. Good vieo. Nice shooting.

Have you tried any 175 SMK's out of that 308?

  • @mrmidnight32 I have, I like them just fine, but I wanted to try the Scenars and got hooked. Have shot the 175's out to 1200 no problem.

  • @scottys1 Which did you find better groups with the 155's or 175's?

Im working up some 175g loads for my 700. thought about doing some 155's too. reason Im interested.

  • @mrmidnight32 The few groups that I have shot with the rifle indicate that it will group both the Scenars and Sierras into 0.5MOA or better at 200+ yds.

  • Nice film, what winds did you have?

  • @cazorp 8-15mph

  • all in all, how much mulah you got into that .308 remmy 700?

  • Good shooting guys. That wind sounded ferocious. Sweet video.

Do you guys use A500 steel targets? I can't hear my hits much past 800 yards but I just use mild steel. I figure the A500 probably gives a lot better ring.

  • I just built a 6.5x47 Lapua for my long range shooting
