It works without this door too. In the version used in David's 7th show, there is no door and it works perfectly))

@alinemerrow The 7th Special was the first time I saw this effect. I also saw this in Atlantic City when I was 3 years old and it was just as awesome in person. David even had the old lady break dancing to Thriller just like on the show.
