Mainers: Do *you* think gays are abnormal?

When you vote this November, please remember what the anti-equality side is really saying about gay people. It's not just about the word "marriage." The ultimate goal runs much deeper.

I don't know how many homosexuals you know other that those infamous cases that you seem to concentrate on BUT if you bother to look around perhaps in your family, you will find perfectly decent well-adjusted NORMAL cases of homosexuals living a good fulfiling life full of LOVE.

With new assisted reproduction technologies some gays can actually have children or adopting hetero-abandoned children from orphanages.

People with genius IQ are abnormal too, people with green eyes, left handed people, etc, they are all abnormal, nothing wrong with that. :)

Why, because the Bible told you that? Did you know that the Bible has lots of crazy stuff in it? Like women being the property of their husbands and fathers. You could actually sell your daughter into slavery! And guess who said that was OK? The "Lord" said it to Moses. Check out Leviticus 25:44-46. I'd really like to know what you think about that scripture...

As a gay man, it sickens me to be a resident of Maine for this very reason. I'll be moving as far away as possible as soon as I can, the UK sounds nice :)

(cont.), decreasing overall quality of life, decreasing standard of living, increased obesity, decreased overall health, increasing fundamentalism, increased ignorance, rising tuition costs, and the greatly reduced probability of upward social mobility one would think that people could find more worthwhile causes than suppressing gays' rights.
