Just watched a report the other night on "for profit" universities...talk about slaughtering the masses. Higher tuition than community colleges. Nursing majors who never even set foot in a hospital as part of their education...and the list goes on. Also, you can become a licensed engineer with NO formal education...just have to work for something like 10-years and you can take the test right along with the graduates. I've commented on this subject before so I'll stop bf I really get rolling

Preach it Brandon!
All things equal, the degree is an advantage, but if you have no skills, can't make the company money, or worse yet, don't care if the company makes money, well I have two words for those folks, get lost.
Too many colleges are charging big money to teach nice to know outdated information. You end up with a degree that will never allow you to pay back the $90 large you borrowed to get that worthless degree.

@BLAZINBEATS123 -the truth of the matter is if you are exceptional, talented and have a voracious work ethic whether you go to college are not, you will be successful. That is the core of the issue, the more average you are the more you need a degree.
I agree with you 100%! I actually get people who look down at me because I refuse to pay someone to teach me how to work for someone else.

@GamzaTheEternal -that is the culturally accepted form of education, the fact that it is not working for a large segment of our population is not even being mentioned.
