@GeigenDiapason4 The photo certainly looks like the console of St Bavo, but record companies don't always use a picture of the organist at the instrument featured. For example, one of my Piet Kee discs, recorded at the Bavo, shows him at the St Laurens, Alkmaar organ, and without explanation. You just have to know! As to the sound of the organ here, I'm not so sure, as it sounds more like one of the Hinsz organs; Bolsward or Kampen.

This is Majestic! I just listened to this at least 30 times on repeat, my mind is lost among the wonderful notes of this splendid composition...

A very impressive and attractive performance of this popular piece by Händel !

@wakes82 I'm almost certain it's the organ in St. Bavo, Haarlem, Holland.

@WPBogart I'm an organ player myself. Sometimes when ask a lot of the organ in terms of "air usage" - especially in the loudest sections - the pressure becomes a bit unstable and accordingly the tuning changes. It's a natural property of the instrument and is very hard to avoid.
Where is this organ, it sounds fantastic!

This is a beautiful, rich sound, evoking, for me, that of David Briggs at the organ of Truro Cathedral playing the same piece many years ago.
A fine posting.
