I think its funny that Carol Burnett's accent changes from British to American in a matter of less than 2 minutes. I like these cheesy skits.

@GretaOfSpringwood It's both, really. It's a send-up of what used to be known on local television channels as The Late-Late Show, which aired cheesy b&w monster movies from the 1930s and 1940s. It's also the Carol Burnett cast (and guest Paul Sand) in their prime, having a great time.
