  • @mrsevans1000 - This policy is the city's way of covering up homelessness. Their goal is NOT to provide for the people. Bloomberg wants to make NYC for the rich only, which makes no sense because the poor & working class are the support system for the blood sucking rich people.

  • @Modacolorist they put there self there you stupid mutha fucka.....!

  • no home but, yeah but she can afford g-unit

  • @Michael1986m Around 2004-2005, the top 10% possessed 80% of all financial assets [and] the bottom 90% held only 20% of all financial wealth (things are much worse now).

  • @msiloveshoes You forgot to mention that service sector wages are still at rock bottom. Until working people get together again in NYC and challenge the plutocratic elite like they did in the early 20th C, we can expect more and more people to enter into homelessness, working or not.

  • This is exactly the reason why I left NY over 22 years ago. Rent was high in the 80s and see nothing, nothing has changed. Rent is STILL sky high and nobody moves. There is not enough affordable housing or available housing. Now there is no 'rent controlled' program. It was like this 20+ years ago & see no improvements since I left. Some people got some serious decisions to make, stay homeless or leave NY. Sometimes U got to leave to do better - to experience a better quality of life!

  • Mayor Bloomberg sucks

  • Such is the product of a large civilization. When the city claims they can "go stay with friends", its not because they don't give a shit or they are ignorant, it's because they have a FUCK LOAD on their plates. Hell, I don't think any society is even near to perfect in today's world, but having said that, you people should try running a city.
