Simple instructions on how to make a gathered end hammock. Made of 1.9oz uncoated ripstop nylon. Use 3 to 4 yards of full width material, depending on your height. Suspension lines are made from 7/64" Amsteel Blue dyneema line rated at 1600#. Ridgeline is 2.2mm Zing-It, rated at 650# and also made from dyneema, but you could just use the Amsteel if you want.

  • SquedlySpooch - Start with a raw material length of 320cm. For the width, you just use the full width of the material. Should be around 150cm.
