I see posts left here saying jackie is or was underated. I dont know what would be considered a proper rating to these folks ,but I can speak as someone who was around in the 60s, and a music fan. jackie was very highly regaurded by everyone I know. the beatles even in 1964 considered her one of the best song writers around. groups looked to record songs she wrote.she was regular on the shindig show.as the decade went on she had huge hits. so I'm not certin what these people think she missed.

First saw her as a callow 13 year old on TV singing Don't Turn Your Back On Me. Every time she sang the title hook line she would spin and pout over her left shoulder to deliver the line.
I nearly went thru the screen.
