@TheCharlize18 I'm afraid I don't understand your question, but I think I know what you mean to say. The number you write on there is a code, when the person receives the card, they enter the number on postcrossing and thus, they know when it was sent and whom by. It's an ID, basically and the ID is unique to the card.

@heidilachs Postcrossing ist kostenlos, ja, das einzige, dass etwas kostet, sind die Karten und das Porto, das zahlt man natürlich selbst.
