In 2003 Martin Bashir filmed a documentary with Michael Jackson entitled Living with Michael Jackson. Following the broadcast of the documentary Michael was unhappy with the way Bashir had portrayed and so had a rebuttal film made out of footage not shown.

Alot of people simply hated this man because he was the most successful entertainer that the world had ever known yet, he remained humble, connected, and sensitive to the human condition. I posit that jealously, at the very least, is potentially what led to his ultimate demise. People just couldn't handle it. I don't know if racism played a role in the endless attacks against him, but in this country, I wouldn't be surprised.
