  • I think this guy means "three-fifths of a person". It seems like he's making reference to the three-fifths clause of the constitution.

  • YOU fail.

  • nice!

  • you say poetry fails words in jail need a bail we don't write because were "gay" we write because we have something important to say about a December day or the horrors of humanity you say poetry fails meanwhile were just taking our place getting ready to run in the human race

    PAC7

  • Yes, you fail

  • Yeah, I love poetry, and love slam poetry, and he's very good otherwise, but honestly if you're going to make a reference to something as famous as the three-fifths clause in front of an audience and posted online, take the time to look it up and make sure you have the correct fraction.

The meaning behind it is still there, but it really draws you out of the poem. A glaring inaccuracy like that just pulls you away and ruins all the rest, which was quite good.

  • bang bang your dead. you just dont know it yet

  • very good
