  • Yes, too much is not good for plants. But the amount I mentioned should be fine unless you have very sensitive plants.

    how do you keep the water clean, what food do you feed to your cardinals?

  • @liloxlil i do a gravel clean taking about 1/3 of the water out every 2 weeks. Each time I put about 1/4 cup of salt in. Keeps the disease out.

  • Hi, bolman 88, sorry for bothering you again. Isn't salt harmful to the plants in your tank? I know that salt is good for disease prevention, but is it OK to put some in a planted tank?
