It's truly sad what has happened to our education and jobs system. My friends and I graduated college with a BA, couldn't find work and now most of us are stuck working minimum wage - some of us can't even get a job bagging groceries. We have to slave away as minimum wage until we can pay some of the loans off and return to school. We're all living such a miserable and depressing life due to this.

I'm so glad I never finished college! Even when I was in middle school, I knew it was just a scam... why can't you just graduate high school and have what you need to make a decent living without spending your early adult years just going into debt before you even start working? and then you raise the debt to 6 figures when it comes time to get a house and car? and there are no guarantees that your degree will get you a high paying job to get yourself out of Capitalist style slavery!

Money is not the problem, doesn't matter if you have a college degree or not, the amount of money you make will not make you wealthy, a middle class family making 100thousand a year is more likely to remain in debt their entire life while someone who works for minimum wage is more likely to get wealthy and rich. The more money you make originally usually means the more debt you get in, because more money does not solve your problems.

The educational system is device meant to keep the rich, rich the poor, poor and put our greatest minds to create financial devices while making the dimmest of inherited wealth into leaders. It is evil and strangles innovation for greed. The creators of academia Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle would spit in the face of these so called sophist. Education should be free to all who seek it... and it is.

Anything that can be taught in these schools can be learned on the internet. Educate yourself.

Fine society the capitalists are creating, eh? No art, no music, no architecture, no poetry, no culture, we are becoming a society of little worker ants, just go to work come home and breed more little worker ants.

You mean lock yourself into minimum wages for the rest of your life? Some future. If you are lucky then you might get a supervisory job at Walmart or Mackey D's? Land of opportunity. Right.

The sad irony is that the people who do not get an education are the very people who vote for the politicians who write the rules for the system to screw the people who go to college. Less than 30 percent of Americans complete a college degree and the Capitalist slave mongers capitalize on that with the fascist anti-intellectual propaganda machinery of the right. This hatred for the educated has dominated American life for more than three decades.

...It depends what you major in. If you major in Philosophy, Music, and other Fine Arts classes you're not going to find much on the job market, besides being a teacher. However, If you major somewhere the market where its currently exploding and in demand like Computer Sciences or Engineering, then it shouldn't be that hard to find a job. Like some people say, and I agree, If you dont major in Engineering, or Medical Science why bother attending college? I agree with your last statement though
