The Imac that I have pci-express display card, not onboard. So when I reflow it it should work? The reflow tempratures on what does it depend?
Thanks

@BGAReflow I have an Imac intel 20" version with separate videocard (not ONboard). Then will this mean that Co-CPU and the other Chipset Fails? Many thanks

@BGAReflow Sorry for the late reply, =), I am using a Hot Air station to re-flow the Northbridge, but am actually planning on just completely removing the chip all together and re-balling it correctly, as I haven't been satisfied with the reflow, and I don't have access to an IR station at this time. Any recommendations on what model of IR heater to purchase?
my i mac g5 ppc 4th motherboard light dosent turn on can u tell me what that means and about how much will it take to fix it

@OnPlanet12 If I remember correctly on a later model iMac the fourth light is the red warning for overheating light. So what you would want is a 1, 2 LED then the 2 LED turns off and LED 3 turns on. That signifies a boot process.
Now on ALS models the boot up is different and the lights stay on and you want a LED 4 light to turn on. Usually with an ALS model your LED 4 light will not post if the video card is bad. They are Mini PCI-E cards.
We charge $125.00 to fix those issues.

I also have a similar iMac. When I boot the iMac, I get repetitive Chime. Could this be the chipset?

@3DVFXECTOR A repetitive chime is displaying a system reboot on an iMac so if the system continues to chime at a regulated interval, ie. every 5 seconds or 2 minutes and does it constantly, I will say it is displaying a chipset issue. This would be the same displayed issue the DV2000, DV6000, DV9000, and TX1000 HP systems display with a failed chipset. They boot, show blue lights, ie. like the iMac chime, then turn off and repeat the cycle.
