@moonchilddave I guess it's true, there's nothing new under the sun. I can hear the RJD influence in the main riff. But otherwise the song isn't a complete rip off. And the lyrics rule! And I love metal from the 80's.

Just found this video... Kinda cool, but I gotta ask... I knew I'd heard the riff before... Is the 80's feel because you borrowed just a little bit from "Stand Up & Shout" by Ronnie James Dio (RIP)?

cool song! and let me tell you, whoever mixed this album did an awesome job. you can hear every instrument perfect and it isn't 'hissy'. The bass sounds awesome too.
