@rickybrant I disagree. Dream Theater does have feeling and soul. Malmsteen and Iron Maiden definitely don't though.

well, thats cuz its from 2001.. he wasnt much of a singer yet, he was playing on pure emotion, which is fine

John should totally re-record some of the Niandra lades stuff.

This video doesn't do John's voice much justice, he is a HELLUVA singer and some people might not recognize that watching this(his voice is amazing I speak ONLY of the quality of the video).... He is one of my biggest influences when it comes to guitar though, he speaks through those 6 strings every time he plays.

people who play fast.. that doesnt mean anything at all... just the fact that theyr'e robots... like malmsteen...everyone from iron maiden... dream theater... none of them have feeling or soul.. john does
