Mask of the Betrayer, in my opinion, has the best story I've ever seen in all of the DnD CRPG (yes, even better than the vaunted Planescape Torment). Mostly because the conclusion is so controversial.

Mask of the Betrayer is just so underrated. a truly hidden masterpiece, i'm glad i've played it. idc the gameplay suffers a bit, it was very innovative bc of the hunger though. But the story... outstanding!

This is one of the best story game I've ever played. Everything is ok. Only those ancient vampires that are nearly impossible to beat, too strong to be vampires in my opinion. You can easily beat Okku e God and fall in 2 seconds with those vampires? That is a lack for me.

@niceswede Fortunetly, Hasbro isn't bunch of right-wing, conservative,Nazi scum. Hasbro saved Forgotten Realms, they didn't ruined anything. Five lawful deities were erased from FR for good:Mystra, Savras, Azuth, Helm and Tyr. Wall of the Faithless was shattered by Spellplague, souls of poor atheists are free, Mystra will never control magic, she is gone forever. Accursed city of Neverwinter was literally obliterated, these evil scum from academy which abused and harassed poor Qara are all dead.

@niceswede Spellplague is the greatest event in history of Forgotten Realms. Hasbro is one of the greatest American companies in the world, i always loved them and they gave me Spellplague, dream come true. Cyric and Shar killed and destroyed tyrannical Mystra for good and almost all mystra's minions died. Perfect. Forgotten Realms was saved from nightmarisgh fascist order of Mystra. Most iconic character in FR are Chaotic,Drizzt Do'Urden. Nazi lawful filth was defeated. Qara was avenged.

Poor Qara is avenged almost all worshipers of Mystra gets killed by Spellplague.
