  • I'm English and visited here last week ... I have respect for the Irish !!! RIP

  • I'm visiting his grave within the next few weeks.

  • Many lads lied about their age,14 i think the youngest lad was nobody will ever know.

But one thing for sure them lads and men went through hell.R.I.P

  • Thanks for the info,...can you please tell me where you gained this info?

  • Yes, we all should remember John Condon and the millions of others who perished in this war. Unfortunately, the CWGC got it wrong. He was 18 when he was killed in 1915 - a huge amount of research has been done to determine what his actual age was (he was from Waterford) and the local authorities have certified his birthdate as 1896...... another Irish tragedy!

  • Good on you lads,....you are the only ones on you-tube (at present)who have any respect for this wee lad.

    Good on you!!!!

  • Thank Christ!!, somebody has taken the time to remember John Condon.
