Puerto Rico is a colony. It is a nation except politically. It is a sovereign country that was invaded by the US in 1898 and after 117 years of colonial status Congress still has plenary powers over it.

As a conservative I have to say that this Vaughn guy is just not good for the party. He's too hot headed, sounds angry, plagiarized Obama's speech and doesn't even know the background stories regarding commonwealth territories of this nation. I really hope that Palin skips this stop.
