Excelente manera de enseñar - primero vos explicás "puntos criticos" y después sabés integrar lo aprendido en un "baile modelo". Gracias a vos y al DVD "Un Tal Gavito", mi esposa francesa y yo, profe alemán, encontramos nuestro estilo y disfrutamos más del baile ! Como se llama ese TANGO nostálgico que ponés al final. Eres muy buen maestro. Pero me pregunto por qué Marian nunca se encarga de dar ninguna explicación por ejemplo a las mujeres. Ella es una linda bailarina y podría complementar para nosotras tu explicación.

No saben el bien que le hacen a tanta gente con estos videos, yo vivo en Japon, en un lugar donde casi no hay tango, asi que imaginense como preciso de estos videos! Y el verlos ensenando asi en la casa... no solo se aprende sino tambien que uno se relaja.

¡ Bárbaro! Vos sos el Maradona del tango. Estoy aprendiendo tango ahora pero no tuve muchas oportunidades de bailar pegado, que és bastante diferente. ¿Podés dar alguna pauta?

Always make sure she's not turning in relation to you. You are turning when leading her to cross back, but if you move forward she won't cross, and if you pivot her she'll take a front cross step (like a molinete).

Yeah, that's correct. You have to time the pivot so that it is complete by the time the follower brings her leg in. The timing you will have to practice until it is smooth.

Do you mean to turn her foot on an axis up through her toes as it begins to move so the follower will have to send her lower leg across unless I were to lead it well outward (which I then simply won't do) ?

After the side step of the follower:

1. Start follower into the next step.

2. Pivot her right leg counterclockwise.

3. The follower brings her leg back in.

4. Pivot her clockwise by the same amount.

By this time she should have gone into the cross.
