Making Sense of Place is a series for television broadcast examining land use issues. Produced with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, it takes on the complex questions of urban planning and regional identity told through residents, community leaders and city officials: how they make sense of the place in which they live and how they invest themselves in its future. Part One focused on Phoenix, Arizona and has been broadcast on PBS. Part Two focuses on Cleveland, OH.
Almost all U.S. cities are this way now even New York, an American Icon, only has an estimated 3% population increase this decade. Sad.
